domayne ("we", "us") respects the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") and builds for it. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and the rights you have over it. The domayne product itself runs under separate customer agreements with stronger, contractual commitments.
What we collect
- Demo requests. When you submit the demo form we collect your name, work email, company, role, company size and anything you write in your message.
- Email you send us. If you write to hello@domayne.ai or security@domayne.ai we hold the correspondence.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, page) for security and reliability.
This website does not use advertising trackers and does not sell personal information. To anyone, ever.
Why we process it
We use demo-request details only to respond to you and arrange the demo you asked for; correspondence to answer you; and logs to keep the site secure. The lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate.
Where it lives and how long
Demo requests are stored in our own database and retained while the conversation is live, or up to 24 months, then deleted. We share personal information with no third parties except the infrastructure providers that host this site, bound by their own data-processing terms.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Ask us to correct or delete it; deletion includes derived records.
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time.
- Complain to the Information Regulator at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za if you believe we have processed your information unlawfully.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@domayne.ai. Our Information Officer responds within a reasonable time and without charge.
